The Brandys Bride
The beautiful bridal doll was made for my aunt. I kept the doll's original hair but gave it some curls and a haircut. The hem on her veil was delicately trimmed by hand with ribbon and lace flower appliques matched to the headpiece and dress. The headpiece the veil is attached to is made of lace that was decorated with pearls.
Her gown is made entirely out of lace and lined with a white taffeta. Her bodice neckline is trimmed with a gathered lace ruffle with matching ruffle on the cuffs. The whole bodice is sewn by hand. The skirt of the gown has front and back panels covered with several layers of lace ruffles.
