Hungarian Folk Costume
This adorable outfit was made for a woman who wanted a copy of a Hungarian folk costume that her mother wore as a child. She gave me a copy of the picture of her mom to work with and with the thanks of her mother, she provided

The vest is made of red velvet and decorated with gold rope trim and gold beads for buttons which was delicately hand sewn in place. The apron is made of two layers of sheer organza. The headpiece is made out of velvet and also decorated with the same gold rope trim. It is also adorned with pearls and golden flowers all of which was hand sewn in place. The headpiece is attached to the head with a beautiful red satin ribbon.
